The first image Objects Arranged According to the Laws of Chance (1916) by Hans Arp is a not bad art because even though the artist tried to ignore POD because that’s the way it supposed to be. The artist tried to ignore the POD but it’s almost impossible. The second image is graffiti. Even though some call it art I don’t think it is. It has line, colour, texture and shapes but there is no point to it. The first one was made by a real artist who must have though how it avoids the criteria and make the painting without it as much as possible. The graffiti artist just does whatever comes to their minds probably not knowing there is something like a criteria. Unlike graffiti that painting meant to be art, it isn’t something that just has elements from the criteria because it does. DADA unlike bad art was meant to be bad.

I disagree with Karolina because I think that Graffiti is art. I think there is a point to Graffiti which is why people graffiti on walls. Graffiti means something to some people. Graffiti artists are just like other artists, there work has many of the elements that creates art. I don't think that Graffiti is just "bad" art.
I think graffiti is art. Many people use graffiti for respect and to them it means a lot. If it was meaningless, why is it so spread? The reason you don't like it is because it was sprayed on your property, however, if you see this outside in america (where they are really good at it), you would be amazed by how much one graffiti can say about someone.
Graffiti is bad art because it looks bad and often destroys property.
I agree with Ana graffiti can say a lot about someone. Graffiti isn't "bad" art just because you don't think it looks good. That's just your opinion on how it looks.
I agree with Courtney's and Ana's comment. I think that graffiti is art, it even follows art's criteria, the elements of esign and the principles of design. But graffiti also adds its own criteria; its message. Karolina, you even said that its "bad" art because it destroys property, but if you think about it, that's also the beauty of it.
